You wonder if you can have a lower interest rate because you are a veteran? Have you tried the VA loan programs?

USAA Federal and Navy have very good rates and loans to 0 -.

You may be surprised to know that "VA Loans" ... only that the VA does not lend money, but ensures that a portion of a loan from another lender, you can ... to get a better rate. However, VA loans a fee from May to outweigh the benefits.

Paul .... Military.com go and there is a link to a particular provider VA Mortgage Company. They are very effective and only deal with the VA, unlike other lenders who can work with VA, but deal not only with him.
They were very close to me where I have 2 homes in the last 3 years (live, 1-investment) or settled on the current market conditions and the prices charged to the account of the fixed zero. You must be able to negotiate with the seller, but where it is difficult, and people in real estate anxiety. In today's market, the buyer has the great advantage ... use.

If you already have a loan, your mortgage will be reduced if you ask. Do you speak with your unit counsel.

It does not seem to buy another house ...? If you and you have a sailor or Marine, Navy Federal Credit Union, see. Credit unions are more important in the world and offers some very good offers. I doubt it will be useful, but will have an ongoing contract, where if you can apply in October and be completed within 60 days, you will receive in your bank account with $ 2000! Were also closed a very low cost compared to banks because they have their businesses closed. Check http://www.navyfcu.org. When you're gone, "the military" do not know what to say.
