Can massive feedback cause the batteries in a wireless microphone to stop working? - batteries
Recently, I was there a show for my school and the mass of information has occurred. The next thing you know, the microphone does not work anymore, not because the batteries work. The batteries were new beginning for the show. Broken batteries were replaced, and the microphone is working again. All the other mics worked well with new batteries at the end of the show.
My question is, the feedback has nothing to do with the microphone is not working / batteries are empty.

Yes, definitely.
In normal use, no sound from the microphone, the battery is very low.
With the probe into the microphone, increasing the current.
I both cases, the internal circuitry simply a amplifier on a low power transmitter drive.
When feedback occurs, the microphone part of a resonant circuit and the current from the battery increases sharply drawn.
